In the panel titled "Women Rebelling Against Gender Roles", our Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Head of Department Professor Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR took part as a moderator and speaker.

Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Head of the Department, Professor Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR, took part as moderator and speaker in the panel titled "Women Rebelling Against Gender Roles" organized by Bandırma Chamber of Commerce Women Entrepreneurs Board within the scope of March 8, International Women's Day.

Professor Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR underlining that March 8 is a special day that allows us to remember how we came to these days in terms of women's rights, she discussed topics such as gender-based discrimination in working life, women's power compared to men's power and occupational discrimination. Professor Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR provided information about the distribution of labor force and employment according to gender in Turkey according to sectoral and occupational groups, and family structure statistics in Turkey.

The panel, where women working in jobs that are considered "men's work" in society, shared their experiences with the participants under the moderation of Professor Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR, was very enjoyable.
