CONFERENCE: From expertise to impact: Taking PhD skills outside academia

How can we effectively use our academic expertise beyond the borders of the university? In this talk, we will discuss how skills such as analysis, communication, project management, and problem-solving gained during the PhD process can be utilized in the private sector, public sector, NGOs, and entrepreneurship. We welcome PhD students, PhD supervisors, PhD candidates, and academic leaders at all levels who want to explore alternative career paths, learn how to prepare for this transition, and draw a road map in parallel with or completely independent of academia.
