Our Dean Prof. Dr. Fatih AYHAN Visits Università di Foggia in Italy under Erasmus+

Prof. Dr. Fatih AYHAN, Dean of our Faculty, paid an academic visit to Università di Foggia in the city of Foggia, Italy, within the scope of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching programme. Carried out under the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement between Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and Università di Foggia, the programme enables academic staff to teach at partner institutions abroad, and the visit marked an important step towards our faculty’s internationalization goals.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Fatih AYHAN delivered lectures in his field of expertise to students of the host university, sharing knowledge and experience with students from diverse academic cultures. As part of the programme, our Dean also met with the academic administrators and faculty members of Università di Foggia and exchanged views on increasing student and staff mobility between the two institutions, joint research projects and collaboration on academic publications.

At our Faculty’s 2026-2027 Fall Semester Academic Board, a target of at least two new Erasmus+ agreements for each department was set. This visit is expected to contribute to reaching that target and to strengthening cooperation with higher education institutions abroad. Our Faculty will continue to support its academic staff and students in gaining international experience through exchange programmes, Erasmus+ in particular.
