OUR GRADUATION CEREMONY TOOK PLACE WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM

Our 2024-2025 Graduation Ceremony was held with enthusiasm

Our university's graduation ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year was held with great enthusiasm. Our students, who were excited about graduation, were happy to share the joy of the diplomas they received with their families and relatives.

At the graduation ceremonies held at BANU Sports Valley Indoor Sports Hall, our students celebrated their achievements after an intensive and devoted education process together with our academic and administrative staff and their families. At the end of the graduation ceremonies, we sent off our young graduates, who will shape our future, to a future full of hope.

In addition to our Dean Prof. Dr. Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, Secretary General Cihangir Boz, district protocol, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organisations, academic and administrative staff, valuable relatives of our students and members of the press attended our graduation ceremony. At the graduation ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, Fatma Cengiz, our student of the Department of International Relations, who graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences with the first place, made a speech on behalf of all graduating students. In her speech, Cengiz shared her feelings and thoughts about her own education process, and also interpreted the graduation excitement of her friends. Cengiz thanked the academicians and families who supported them throughout their education and shared her hopes and goals for the future with the participants. Afterwards, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz delivered a speech on the meaning and importance of the day. In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz stated that today is a meaningful day for students, where many years of hard work is crowned, and congratulated all graduates and wished them continued success. Afterwards, the plaque pinning ceremony took place on the graduation log. After this meaningful ceremony, certificates of achievement were presented to the students who ranked and graduation memory certificates were presented to all graduates. The graduation ceremony continued with the cap throwing ceremony, which was awaited with pride and excitement by the students and their families. With the start of the countdown, the enthusiasm in the hall reached its peak; our graduates threw their caps into the air together and celebrated years of hard work and success with great joy.

At the end of the graduation ceremonies, our students took plenty of souvenir photos with their teachers, friends and families at the beautiful spots of the sports valley and the campus and recorded these moments, which were a turning point in their lives.
