Econometrics Department held its Internal Stakeholder Meeting

On Thursday, March 6, 2025, our Econometrics Department held its Internal Stakeholder Meeting.

The meeting was attended by our department faculty members: Prof. Dr. Metehan Yılgör, Prof. Dr. Necla Tektaş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kızılgöl, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayça Özekin, Asst. Prof. Dr. Derya Topdağ, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadime Aksoy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fulden Kömüryakan Kaygısız, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hakan Öndes. Additionally, internal stakeholders from various departments participated, including Prof. Dr. Gökhan Orhan from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Prof. Dr. Özgür Biyan from the Department of Finance, Prof. Dr. Kemal Yıldız from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Tansoy Yıldırım from the Department of Business Administration, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Kürdaş Özekin from the Department of International Relations. The meeting was also attended by Eda Bayrak Güzeldağ, the Secretary of the Econometrics Department; Mert Şengül, the Student Representative of the Econometrics Department; and Nezahat Saçan, a Student Affairs Staff Member from the Graduate Education Institute.

During the meeting, discussions focused on shaping the curriculum to align with students’ career aspirations and industry requirements. Faculty members from different departments and the student representative shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the course plan.
