Announcement Regarding Additional Exams and Periods to be Given to Students Enrolled in Associate and Undergraduate Programs Who Filled the Maximum Period at the End of the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester

"Except for the one-year foreign language preparatory class (maximum two years), those who have not successfully completed their associate degree programs within a maximum of four years and undergraduate programs within a maximum of seven years, regardless of whether they have registered for each semester, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program they are enrolled in are given, can register to continue their education, provided that they pay the student contribution fee / tuition fee per course for which they have taken the application / exam for the relevant semester according to the conditions specified in article 46 of this law.  The maximum duration of preparatory education is two years. Within the maximum periods, students cannot be dismissed due to non-payment of contributions and tuition fees and non-renewal of registration, but with the decision of the authorized boards of the university and the approval of the Council of Higher Education, students may be dismissed due to non-payment of contributions or tuition fees and non-renewal of registration for four consecutive years.

Students who want to take advantage of the additional exam right must apply to the Faculties and Vocational Schools where they are registered by e-mail or in person.

At the end of the additional period exams, the student's status will be evaluated within the framework of "Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations Maximum Learning Periods and Student Status (Article 12)" and the relevant student; additional time, unlimited exam right will be given or dismissed.

Students who have completed their maximum period of time are given two additional exam rights for all courses they have failed. These two additional exam rights are used before the start of the new academic year after the final exam periods of these courses. At the end of these exams, students who cannot reduce the number of failed courses to five courses, including the courses they have never taken and have not fulfilled the attendance requirement, are dismissed from the university.

After the two additional exam rights given to students who have completed their maximum period for all the courses they have failed, never taken or failed to attend, those who reduce the number of courses they have failed, never taken or failed to attend to five courses are given three semesters for these five courses; those who have failed, never taken or failed to attend up to five courses without using the right to take additional exams are given four semesters; those who fail one course are given the right to take unlimited exams without benefiting from the right to be a student.
