HISTORY

           As can be seen from Table 1, where the historical development of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) is summarized, the FEAS, which is hosted by Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University, under the name of Bandirma Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was established by law dated July 3, 1992, and numbered 3897. The FEAS, which started education on 18 October 1993 with its departments of  Economics and of Business Administration, gave its first graduates in 1997.
According to the Law No. 6640 and dated 31.3.2015, published in the Official Gazette dated 23 April 2015 and numbered 29335, a new university was established in Bandırma district of Balıkesir province as Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University. In accordance with this law, Bandırma Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences left Balıkesir University and started its educational activities by connecting to Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University under the name of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Continuing its education and training activities at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, the FEAS graduated its first graduates in the 2016-2017 academic year.

          As can be seen from Table 2, where the number of FEAS students is presented, a total of 4483 students, 2433 of whom are male students and 2050 of which are female students, receive education in the FEAS. There are 142 students in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, 220 in Econometrics, 880 in Economics, 938 in Business, 854 in Finance, 846 in Political Science and Public Administration, and 603 in International Relations.
A total of 86 academic staff, including 14 Professors, 16 Associate Professors, 26 Doctor Lecturers, and 30 Research Assistants, work at the FEAS. The distribution of academic staff by departments and titles is presented in Table 3. In addition, an administrative staff consisting of 20 personnel serves in the FEAS. Administrative personnel work in the service area of 337.9 m2 and academic staff in the service area of 795.8 m2
