OPTIONAL INTERNSHIP PROCEDURES
Notice: Students of our Faculty who apply to the 2025-2026 National Internship Programme within the scope of the Presidential Internship Mobilization will be able to do Optional Internship.
Before Internship:
The student fills and signs the printout of the Internship Acceptance Form. (Please use a blue ballpoint pen when filling out the form.)
The student gets the signed Internship Acceptance Form approved by the institution / organisation where he / she will do internship.
The signed-approved form is sent to our faculty by mail / cargo. (In order to speed up the process, you can take a photo of the signed-approved form and send an e-mail to iibf@bandirma.edu.tr).
In order to determine the insurance premium to be paid on behalf of our students who will do internship, they are required to send their SPAS (Health Provision Activation System) Necessity Documents to iibf@bandirma.edu.tr via e-government gate.
Unit Internship Coordinators examine the incoming Internship Acceptance Forms and check the information, signature, seal, stamp, etc. on the form. Incomplete or incorrect forms are returned to the student for correction.
Forms with no errors are sent to the authorised personnel to make the Insurance Employment Declaration procedures.
Note: Insurance Employment Declaration is sent by e-mail to the students who request it.
Internship Period:
Students who leave their voluntary internship before the internship end date must notify our Faculty within 3 days.
Students who have a work accident and / or occupational disease during their internship must notify our Faculty within 3 days.
The Optional Internship Attendance Tracking Chart, which is prepared for the purpose of monitoring and controlling the student's internship and approved by the relevant institution / organisation official, will be sent by e-mail to iibf@bandirma.edu.tr in the first week of the following month.
After Internship:
The information of the student who comes in the first week of the month following the Internship Tracking Chart and whose voluntary internship has ended is sent to the authorized personnel to make the Insured Leaving Work Notification.
Note: Insured Leaving Notification is sent by e-mail to the students who request it.
Internship information of students who have completed their optional internship is entered by the Student Affairs Unit Officer of our faculty on the Student Information System of our university and processed in the transcript.
