Career Summit Held by Our Business and Economy Community

Our Business and Economics Community held a Career Summit event.

The 2-day event brought together Balıkesir MP Ali Taylan Öztaylan and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Students at Aziz Sancar Meeting Hall on the first day (Monday, 03.03.2025) at 14:00. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, and our academicians and students attended the event hosted by Buse Yılmaz. During the program, community president Halil Limon gave a speech about BANMEC and MECVERSE. Later, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, joined our event with his speech. Then, Ali Taylan Öztaylan shared his views and expectations about “World Economy and Career Journey” with the guests. Ali Taylan ÖZTAYLAN then answered the questions of the participants. At the end of the program, our Rector presented Ali Taylan Ötaylan with a plaque and a certificate of appreciation for his participation.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the event consisting of 3 sessions brought together PPE Investment Energy Founder Mehmet Büyükkoyuncu, Madammerry&Pekel Founder Merve Kınık Öztürk, and Yücel Tarım Founder XAG Drone Distributor Hamza Yücel with Bandırma 17 Eylül University Students at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall. The event hosted by Yağmur Lap started with our first session at 11:00 with the participation of many viewers. Mehmet Büyükkoyuncu briefly talked about his own life and how he founded and grew Power Point Energy. At the end of the hour-long conference, BANMEC President Halil Limon presented Mehmet Koyuncu with a certificate of appreciation for his participation.

The event hosted by Tuğçe Salcı hosted Merve Kınık Öztürk in the 2nd session at 13:00. Founder of Madammerry Cosmetics and Kolay Kahve, told us about the development of the entrepreneurship process. At the end of the conference, which lasted about an hour, our advisor Prof. Ayça Özekin presented Merve Kınık Öztürk with a certificate of appreciation for her participation.

The event, hosted by Ahmet Emre Zorba, started at 15:00 in the 3rd session. This session, our community hosted Hamza Yücel. Mr. Yücel's presentation about the entrepreneur's life and XAG Drone attracted great attention from the audience. At the end of the session, which progressed in the form of questions and answers, Dr. Lecturer Ayça Özekin presented Hamza Yücel with a certificate of appreciation for his participation.
