GETEM Library for Students with Disabilities

Dear Students in the Department of Public Finance

As part of the internet library project designed by Boğaziçi University's Technology and Education Laboratory for the Visually Impaired (GETEM), you can benefit from our online library, which aims to provide access to information resources for students with disabilities, especially those with visual impairments.

From the GETEM Library:

- Listen to a wide range of publications in Turkish and English,

- Access course materials (books, articles, and lecture notes) taught in educational institutions at all levels, in addition to stories, novels, and poetry,

- Access recordings of various lectures and conferences, as well as scientific articles and books,

- Access a wide variety of content, including radio plays, MP3 versions of audio-described films, and audio narrations for computer and smart devices.

Anyone who can document their disability through a medical report or disability ID card can become a member of the GETEM library and access the collection 24/7 from anywhere with internet or a phone. The works can be listened to directly on the website or downloaded to devices.

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Library and Documentation Department has been an institutional member of the GETEM Audio Digital Library since 2022. Students wishing to take advantage of this service can obtain a password and passcode by requesting it from the relevant Department.
