Public Finance Department Students Visit the Tax Office

 

Public Finance Department students visited the Bandırma Tax Office as part of a trip organized by the Finance Club to enhance their professional knowledge and experience. This visit provided a significant opportunity for students to observe tax practices firsthand and gain a closer understanding of the institution's operations.

During the visit, the students were welcomed by Bandırma Tax Office Director Mehmet Cengiz, Deputy Director Ahmet Sevim, and senior Revenue Specialists. Director Mehmet Cengiz personally guided the students through all the departments of the tax office, providing detailed information about the duties, processes, and daily operations of each unit. This comprehensive briefing allowed students to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

Throughout the visit, students had the opportunity to ask questions about key areas of work such as tax assessment, collection, auditing, and taxpayer services. Director Mehmet Cengiz and Deputy Director Ahmet Sevim sincerely answered all questions, contributing to the development of the students' perspectives on tax procedures. Furthermore, the various refreshments provided to the students by the institution ensured that the visit took place in a warm and productive atmosphere.
