INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS MASTER'S PROGRAM WITH THESIS

General Information About the Program

The International Relations Graduate Program offers a two-year postgraduate education aimed at training individuals with an expert perspective in international relations. In the master's program, whose primary purpose is to train experts in the field of international relations, all economic, legal, historical, and political dimensions, especially International Relations, are taken into consideration.

The curriculum of the International Relations Graduate Program is a social sciences master program, which is built on a strong social sciences basis and aims to provide specialized education in its field.

The program is designed to provide the basic concepts and theories of international relations literature and enable individuals to reach their goals quickly on the way to specialization.

International Relations is a social sciences program that tries to understand and make sense of interstate relations, examines the political approaches they have been carrying out in the past and today, and has close contacts with political science, sociology, law, and economics.
The program is designed with a weighted approach to security studies and regional research.

It aims to raise graduates who can critically read and interpret the primary texts and literature of the International Relations discipline and express their thoughts following academic writing rules. Our program has all kinds of competencies that will increase the efficiency of our students' academic education and prepare them for global competition with its educational and research quality, qualified and energetic academic staff, and physical equipment that provides an environment for scientific production. The program is opened as a Master with Thesis, English with Thesis, and without Thesis.

Working places

Graduates of the International Relations Graduate Program can be employed in national and international fields of study. They can work as international relations experts in public institutions, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, Culture, and Tourism ministries. Graduates of the International Relations Master's Program may have the opportunity to work outside the public sector, in areas requiring international relations skills of the private sector, non-governmental organizations, media sector, various financial institutions, and international organizations. Also, program graduates can continue their studies in the academic field.
