Exemption Exam for Turkish Language I and Turkish Language II
The courses “Turkish Language I and Turkish Language II” are compulsory in all departments of all faculties of our University. For students admitted in 2025 who wish to be exempt from these courses, an exemption exam will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Students who achieve a sufficient score in this exam will not be required to take these courses. The exam will be graded out of 100 points. Students who score CC (60) or above will be exempt from Turkish Language I-II. The grade they obtain will replace the course grade and will be included in their graduation GPA. The score will also be valid for the compulsory course requirement. Students who score below 60 and therefore cannot be exempt will be required to take these courses through the distance education system.

Application Procedure:
Taking the exam is not mandatory. Students who wish to sit for the exam must apply to their Faculty with the attached petition.
