Program Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes of the Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Program are as follows:
P.O.1. Having basic computer skills and acquiring the ability to use Office programs commonly used in working life.
P.O.2. Having theoretical and practical knowledge in human resources, industrial relations, disadvantaged groups, social security law, and social policy.
P.O.3. Being able to apply and interpret the necessary fundamental topics in labor legislation, labor relations, and union practices in practical situations.
P.O.4. Having the ability to think critically, generate alternative solutions, take initiative, and analyze and synthesize different sources.
P.O.5. Being able to think analytically, analyze numerical and statistical data, consider causal relationships, and develop strategic approaches to problems.
P.O.6. Being able to analyze individual, managerial, organizational, psychological, and sociological problems in working life and develop solutions to these problems.
P.O.7. Being aware of the concepts, practices, and policies related to the concept and construction of social policy.
P.O.8. Being aware of the values related to work and professional ethics.
As can be seen from the course contents and learning outcomes, the program’s mission, objectives, goals, curriculum, course contents, and learning outcomes are all aligned and support each other. Additionally, the program learning outcomes are routinely checked and can be updated by the committee when necessary.
