Change of Leadership in the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations

At the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, a significant transition has taken place in the leadership of the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations.

Prof. Dr. Serap PALAZ, who has made valuable contributions to the department since its establishment—strengthening its academic structure, enhancing scientific productivity, and adopting a student-centered approach—has handed over the position of Head of Department to Prof. Dr. Kemal YILDIZ.

Throughout her tenure, Prof. Dr. Serap Palaz has played a crucial role in the advancement of our department with her academic expertise, strong leadership skills, and prolific scientific output. She has elevated the quality of both undergraduate and graduate education, and has stood out with her academic publications and involvement in national and international projects. We extend our sincere gratitude to her for the values and dedication she has brought to our department.

Taking over the role of Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Kemal YILDIZ is a highly respected scholar within our university community, known for his strong academic background and administrative experience. With deep expertise in fields such as social policy, labour relations, and labour markets, we have full confidence that under his leadership, our department will gain even greater momentum.
