LEIR Department Brings Students Together at Welcome Breakfast

The Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations (LEIR) at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University organized a welcome breakfast to strengthen communication among students and foster a sense of belonging within the Department.

The breakfast brought together students and academic staff, providing an opportunity for students to get to know one another as well as the faculty members of the Department. The event, organized particularly to support the adaptation of students admitted in 2026 to departmental life, created a warm and friendly atmosphere.

During the event, students had the opportunity to exchange ideas with academic staff about scientific, social, and cultural activities organized within the Department, in addition to their academic life. Questions and topics of interest to students were also discussed, while experiences and suggestions regarding departmental life were shared.

The welcome breakfast contributed to strengthening communication between students and academic staff and fostering a stronger connection between students and the Department. During the event, it was emphasized that students’ social development and active participation in university life are as important as their academic achievements.

The Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations aims to continue organizing activities that support students’ academic and social development and encourage their active participation in departmental life.
