Our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Kemal YILDIZ, participated in the 14th Labour Council themed “Digital Transformation in Working Life.”

The 14th Labour Council Meeting, which addressed current issues related to working life, was held on 22 January 2026 at Ankara Congresium under the theme “Digital Transformation in Working Life.”

The meeting began with opening speeches by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, and was organized in three sessions. During the sessions, the impacts of digitalization on working life, trade union structures, and the public employment system were discussed.

At the meeting, the transformation brought about by technological developments and artificial intelligence in labour relations was examined from a multidimensional perspective, and the potential impacts of this process as well as proposed solutions were deliberated.
