Our Labor Economics Students Participated in the 10th AKAD'EMEK Student Congress

The 10th AKAD'EMEK Student Congress, which aims to give a voice to students of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, was held between 23–26 April 2026 under the theme “Youth, Labor, and the Future.” Students from various universities across Türkiye came together at the congress, where current issues such as working life, trade union movements, youth unemployment, the transformation of labor, and future models of work were discussed.

Representing our university, students from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations attended the congress under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal COŞAN. Our students had the opportunity to closely follow recent developments in their field by participating in academic sessions, panels, and workshops.

Throughout the congress, our students exchanged knowledge and experiences with participants from different universities and gained a highly productive organizational experience both academically and socially.
