Our University's 2024–2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony Was Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm

Our 2024–2025 academic year graduation ceremony was held with great excitement. Our graduating students shared the joy of receiving their diplomas with their families and loved ones.

Held at the BANÜ Sports Valley Indoor Sports Hall, the graduation ceremonies brought together students, academic and administrative staff, and families to celebrate the achievements of our students after an intensive and dedicated period of education. At the end of the ceremonies, we bid farewell to our young graduates, who will shape our future, with hope and best wishes.

Our graduation ceremony was honored by the presence of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Serap PALAZ ÇAKIR, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, Secretary General Cihangir Boz, Department Chair Prof. Dr. Kemal YILDIZ, members of the district protocol, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, academic and administrative staff, students' esteemed family members, and members of the press.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. Following this, Fatma Cengiz, a student from the Department of International Relations who graduated top of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of all graduates. In her address, she shared her personal educational journey and expressed the collective excitement of her peers. She thanked the academics and families who supported them throughout their education and shared her hopes and goals for the future.

Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz then gave a speech highlighting the significance of the day, emphasizing that it marked the culmination of years of hard work for the students. He congratulated all the graduates and wished them continued success.

The ceremony continued with the traditional plaque nailing to the graduation log. Afterwards, certificates of achievement were presented to the top-ranking students, while all graduates received their graduation memory certificates.

The most anticipated moment for both students and their families—the cap-tossing ceremony—followed. With the countdown, excitement in the hall reached its peak as the graduates tossed their caps into the air, celebrating years of dedication and achievement with immense joy.

At the end of the graduation ceremonies, our students commemorated this milestone by taking numerous photos with their professors, friends, and families at various scenic spots around the Sports Valley and campus.
