Students Visit Çelebi Port as Part of a Technical Field Trip

Fourth-year students of the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, visited Çelebi Port as part of the Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety course.

The technical field trip was organized under the guidance of Dr. Lecturer Merve Çiloğlu Yörübulut. During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe occupational health and safety practices implemented in port operations on site. Information was provided on port activities, workplace risk factors, preventive measures, and the practical implementation of occupational health and safety legislation.

The field trip contributed significantly to enhancing students’ professional awareness by enabling them to reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical observation.
