2024-2025 Academic Year Economics Department Orientation Program Held

As part of the orientation programs organized the Economics Department successfully held an orientation program for first-year students. In this event, which was attended by our department's faculty members, new students were provided with comprehensive information about the faculty and the department.

During the program, important topics that students will need throughout their academic journey, such as the faculty and department website, the Student Information System (SIS), and academic regulations, were covered. Through informative presentations, students not only gained fundamental knowledge about their academic life but also learned about various resources available within the faculty.

In the second part of the program, our students had the opportunity to tour the campus and social areas with guides. During this tour, the facilities and social opportunities provided by the faculty were thoroughly explained by departmental experts. Students were able to explore key areas supporting university social life, such as the library, sports facilities, and student clubs. This allowed them to quickly adapt to campus life and acquire comprehensive information about the opportunities offered by university life.
