As the Department of Economics at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University;

Mission: Our mission is to educate economists who possess a strong theoretical foundation, are capable of applying theoretical knowledge, conducting modeling and analysis, and engaging in analytical thinking. We aim to foster individuals who are critical, questioning, interpretive, participatory, dynamic, research-oriented, forward-thinking, and open to changes and advancements in science and technology. Our graduates are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in their field and are able to offer policies and recommendations on relevant issues.

Vision: Our vision is to be a distinguished department that engages in education, research, and development activities at international standards. We are committed to following the advancements in technology and science, producing the best economists in our field, being sensitive to regional and national issues, and contributing value to the economy through academic activities. We strive to contribute to economic growth and development both nationally and internationally, aiming to become a leading department in our field.
