Political Science and Public Administration Doctoral Program
Political Science and Public Administration Doctorate Program started to admit students in Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Institute of Social Sciences in the Fall Term of 2019-2020 Academic Year. The program, which is currently continuing education at the Institute of Social Sciences, continues its academic activities with the contributions of the academic staff of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, especially faculty members of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration.
The aim of the Political Science and Public Administration Doctorate program is; to enable students to have rich and multidimensional knowledge in political science and public administration discipline, to be competent in their fields, to contribute to the current field at the theoretical, administrative and practical levels, to produce solutions to the problems encountered in public and private sector as well as non-governmental organizations, to train qualified scientists for the executive positions and academics for the scientific world. For this purpose, the compulsory and elective courses in the doctoral program are determined on the basis of political science and public administration disciplines. This program includes individuals who are in the field and who have acquired the scientific knowledge and analysis skills of Political Science and Public Administration disciplines, who have the ability to enlighten their environment with the ability to make research and overcome problems, to enlighten their environment with high communication skills, and to follow the path of what is true, and to be equipped with knowledge. In addition, it is aimed to train scientists who can propose solutions for the problems faced at various scales by analyzing them in a detailed manner.

Working Opportunities
Graduates of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration have various employment opportunities in the public and private sectors. Department graduates can work at different positions in various units of the central government (ministries, governorates, district governorships, etc.) and local governments (municipalities, etc.), as well as middle and senior managers in financial institutions, banks, and insurance companies and other private sector organizations; They can work as inspectors, experts or auditors.
In addition, department graduates can be employed within the body of public institutions such as administrative judiciary (judges in the Administrative Courts, Tax Courts, and Regional Administrative Courts), independent supreme boards (for example, Competition Board expertise, supervision and inspectorate) and non-governmental organizations.
