Program Educational Objectives

Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Political Science and Public Administration Program:

1. The main objective of the department is to provide students who want to take part in politics and public administration system, private sector, non-governmental and international organizations in the future with theoretical-factual knowledge; cognitive-application skills to reflect this knowledge to practices and individual competencies (individual/team work, critical thinking/lifelong development, communication ability, knowledge/information reflection) to support all these skills.
2. It is one of the aims of the department to provide students who want to advance in academic life in the future with a comprehensive knowledge; cognitive and practical skills that can reflect conceptual-theoretical knowledge to their research; interdisciplinary, ethical and universal competencies that can carry out individual and collaborative studies on these foundations, reflect critical thinking and continuous development to their studies, and transfer the solutions they produce to the society based on the requirements of the age and the methodological knowledge of the field.
