10th Career Days are organized at our university
The traditional Career Days, which will be held for the tenth time this year under the coordination of our Career Development Application and Research Center (BANÜ-KAGEM), in cooperation with our Faculties and Student Communities, will start on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
As every year, Career Days will bring together distinguished guests from national companies with our students this year. In the three-day event; career opportunities, sectoral experiences and professional development areas in many fields such as human resources, health, media, design, diplomacy, artificial intelligence, engineering and energy will be discussed.
On the first day of the event, Tuesday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. in Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, Tayfun Pirpir, Human Resources Director, will present “Career Strategies for Future Professionals: Preparation for the Business World from the Perspective of Human Resources”. At 11:30 at Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, Bursa Acıbadem Hospitals Assistant Director of Nursing Services Şükran Özdemir will present “Career Planning in Health Services: Patient Care Management and Professional Development” at the conference hall.
In the afternoon, Ahmet Özhan will meet with the audience at Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall at 14.00 with his performance of “Turkish Sufi Music”. At the same time at Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, TRT Radio Program Producer and Presenter Zeynep Bayraktutan will present “Career in Design-Oriented Media Sectors: The Power of Narrative, Visual Communication and Communicative Skills”. The last session of the day will be “Culture2Commerce: From Cultural Heritage to Global Markets” organized by BANUKAY and International Trade Student Community at Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall at 14.00.
On the second day of the event, Wednesday, May 21, at 10.00 am at Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, Dr. Rana Kasapoğlu Önder, Head of Communication Department of Turkish National Agency, will present “The Power of Communication in Career Journey: Opportunities in the Public and Private Sector”. At Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall at 11.00, Recep Lokmanoğlu, Physiotherapist Recep Lokmanoğlu will present “From Clinic to Career: Specialization, Practice and Professional Orientations in the Field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation” at the Prof. Dr. Fu Fu Fu Sez Sez Conference Hall. DHL eCommerce Marmara Region Supervisor Taner Sarı will make a presentation titled “International Career Journey and Global Trade with DHL eCommerce” at Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall at 11.30 am.
On the same day at 14.00 at Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, Retired Ambassador Ali Rıza Çolak will present “Diplomacy, Economy and Global Governance: A Strategic Roadmap for Young Professionals”. At the same time in Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Kocaman will make a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence Supported Graphic Design”. In Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, TMC Consultancy will contribute to the program with the topic “Education and Employment Opportunities in Germany in the Field of Health”.
On Thursday, May 22nd, the third and last day of the Career Days, Abdurrahman Demir will take place at Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall at 11.00 am.
The last sessions of the event will start at 14.00. In Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, İşbir Elektrik General Manager İbrahim Kılıçarslan will give a speech titled “Strategic Transformation and Career Opportunities in the Energy Sector: Industry, Public and Academy Perspectives” will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Serap Palaz Çakır. At the same time at Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, Yemtar Makina Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. representatives Seren Yavuz and Cihan Bademci will present “Shaping the Future in Agricultural Technologies: A Journey from Engineering to Career at Yemtar”.
