Stakeholder Meetings

As the Department of Business Administration, we held separate meetings with our internal stakeholders on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 via Google Meet between 11:00/12:00 and with our external stakeholders between 12:15/13:25. Our meeting, which was very productive in the department and to which we invited our internal stakeholders and representative students from each class, was very useful, especially with the feedback we received from our students and professors. The meeting, which focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the business administration department in the upcoming periods, discussed our students' expectations from their departments, our implemented course plans, program learning outcomes and educational objectives, discussed our course plans, discussed the courses that needed to be added and removed, and also included our vision, mission, goals and objectives, will be an important source of feedback for us in the future.

On the other hand, in our external stakeholder meeting, we had the chance to listen to the ideas of our valuable stakeholders from our external faculty, graduates, the business world and Bandırma City Council. In the meeting, where we received very clear and concrete outputs, a SWOT analysis was performed regarding our business administration department. We listened to our strengths and weaknesses from different perspectives. On the other hand, we received feedback on our educational goals and whether our relevant graduates received an education that was in line with the educational and program goals and how much they reflected the outcomes of this in the field. This meeting, where we also exchanged views on how today's academics should be and how they should be brought to the university, also included an exchange of views on how well our course plans were in line with the requirements of the age and how we should act. The meeting, where our vision, mission, goals and objectives were also reviewed, ended with ideas and goodwill wishes on our website about what should be included in the new world order from a student's perspective and with the application of internal and external stakeholder surveys to the participants at the end of both meetings.
