Organized by the Department of Real Estate Development and Management at Ankara University's Faculty of Applied Sciences, the “World Facility Management Day” program was held with intensive participation from academia, the public sector, and industry representatives[cite: 1, 2]. Industry Stakeholders Gathered in Ankara

The program, held on May 13, 2026, was attended by Adil Karaismailoğlu, Chairman of the TGNA Commission on Public Works, Reconstruction, Transport, and Tourism; Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Rector of Ankara University; and Banu Aslan, General Manager of Professional Services at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, along with numerous academics and students[cite: 1, 2].

During the event, it was emphasized that facility management is not just a technical process, but a strategic discipline that integrates people, place, and technology[cite: 1, 2].

Taxation Issues in Collective Living Areas Discussed

Significant findings regarding the digital, legal, and financial future of facility management were shared during the sessions[cite: 1, 2].
