The 40th International Public Finance Symposium/Türkiye, one of our country’s longest-running scientific events, was hosted by the Department of Public Finance at Pamukkale University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The symposium took place on 22–25 October 2026 in Antalya.
A total of 95 papers were presented at the symposium, whose main theme was “The Implications of Global Uncertainties and Opportunities for Public Finance.” The papers addressed various topics in public finance and attracted considerable interest from participants.
The symposium, attended by our Department Head, Prof. Dr. Özgür BİYAN, and our faculty member Prof. Dr. Harun YENİÇERİ, concluded successfully with scholarly exchanges and discussions.
We congratulate everyone who contributed to organizing the symposium and thank the host, Pamukkale University’s Department of Public Finance.
