Department Introduction

The Department of Business Administration was established in 1992, under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Balıkesir University. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, which was established with the Law No. 6640 published in the Official Gazette dated 23 April 2015 and numbered 29335, was included in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Depending on the requests of students, The English preparatory program is optionally provided in the department of Business Administration.

Educational and academic activities are carried out under the following departments, in the Department of Business Administration, where education and training are given at formal education level:

• Department of Production Management and Marketing
• Department of Management and Organization
• Department of Organizational Behavior
• Department of Numerical Methods
• Department of Commercial Law

In the department, there are Business Administration and Marketing doctorate programs as well as Business Administration (with and without Thesis), Marketing Management (with Thesis), Accounting and Finance (with Thesis) and Leadership and Global Entrepreneurship (with and without Thesis) programs under the Department of Business Administration.
The Department of Business Administration has a young and dynamic team of experts who can guide students in all areas of business discipline, develop their ability to think and make decisions as global business operators. There are 5 professors, 6 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, 3 research assistants at the Department.
