Question: What are the compulsory and elective courses that students must take?

Answer: As stated in the course plan, all 1st and 2nd year courses are compulsory. In the 3rd year fall semester, Finance I course and in the 3rd year spring semester, Finance II course are compulsory. In the fall and spring semesters of the 3rd year, 5 elective courses are also required. In the fall and spring semesters of 4th grade, all courses are elective courses. Our students must choose 6 elective courses from the elective courses pool in both fall and spring semesters in the 4th grade. Elective courses must be selected from the pool of elective courses opened semester by semester.

Question: Can another elective course be taken instead of a failed elective course and counted instead of that course? Can this course be chosen from different semesters?

Answer: Another elective course can be taken instead of a failed elective course and counted instead of that course. The point to be considered here is that the courses must belong to the same semester (term). For example, if a course is failed in the fifth semester, the course to be taken instead must also belong to the fifth semester. Substituted courses from different semesters prevent graduation.

Question: What are the conditions for taking the single course exam?

Answer: The single course exam is an exam that can be taken by students who have failed only 1 course, provided that they have succeeded in all the courses in the course plan. In order to take the exam, the attendance requirement of the failed course must also be fulfilled. In case of getting a full score from the exam, there should be a possibility of reaching the grade point average required for graduation. For example, even if 100 full points are obtained from the single course exam, if the grade point average required for graduation, 2.00, cannot be reached, the single course exam cannot be taken.

Question: In which semesters are single course exams held?

Answer: Single course exams are held after the end of the year exams in the fall and spring semesters. Single course exam dates can be found in the academic calendar.

Question: How can I access the academic calendar?

Answer: The academic calendar is available on our university's website. The academic calendar is updated for each year under the “student” tab on the main page of our faculty.

Answer: Yes, upper class courses can be taken. The conditions for this are To have reached at least the 5th semester, to have no incomplete or unsuccessful courses and to have a grade point average of at least 3.00.

Question: I think I have given all my courses. Do I have any missing courses? Can I graduate?

Answer: Compare the courses in the lesson plan with your transcript (grade breakdown) on the obs (student information system). If you have no missing or failed courses (FF) and your grade point average is at least 2.00, you are eligible to graduate. Your graduation procedures are carried out immediately by the student affairs at the end of each semester.

Question: Can I take a course I failed in the fall semester in the spring semester?
