To contribute to the career planning processes of Gönen Vocational School students, a conference titled ‘CV Preparation and Interview Techniques’ was held by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Ercan, Director of the Career Development Application and Research Center and a faculty member of our department.

The event took place on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ömer Seyfettin Conference Hall at Gönen Vocational School and attracted strong interest from both students and academic staff. During the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Ercan shared comprehensive information on how to prepare an effective CV, common mistakes made in job applications, key points to consider during the interview process, and employers’ expectations from candidates.

The event continued in an interactive manner with a question-and-answer session, during which students had the opportunity to receive direct information on topics they were curious about. The conference contributed to participants’ ability to define their career goals more clearly and to take a step ahead as they enter professional life.

In the closing remarks, Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz stated that the employment rates of 2025 graduates are high across departments and emphasized that such career-oriented events play an important role in preparing students for professional life.

The event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Ercan.
