An Event on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Within the Scope of Industrial Property Was Held
The informational conference titled “Protection of Intellectual Property Rights within the Scope of Industrial Property,” organized in collaboration between the Department of Business Administration’s Scientific and Social Activities Committee and the Technology Transfer Office, was successfully held. The event, which took place online via the Microsoft Teams platform, drew significant interest from students, faculty members, research assistants, and other participants interested in the topic.
Dr. Baki Tuna Yazıcı, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Commercial Law, who participated as a speaker at the conference, comprehensively addressed the legal dimensions of intellectual property protection and its applications within the scope of industrial property. In his presentation, Yazıcı touched on topics such as patents, trademarks, designs, and copyrights, emphasizing the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, particularly in entrepreneurship and innovation processes.
Yazıcı provided participants with important information within the framework of current legislation and also offered examples regarding legal issues encountered and their solutions. During the question-and-answer session held at the end of the event, participants’ questions were answered, clarifying matters of interest related to the topic.
