Design and Artificial Intelligence-Supported Web Management Program Held

The “Design and Artificial Intelligence-Supported Web Management Program / Basic Canva Training”, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, was held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with strong student participation.

Organized to support students in developing competencies in visual communication, social media management, and AI-supported content creation in an era of rapid digital transformation, the program provided a productive learning environment where theoretical knowledge was combined with practical applications.

Held at the Computer Laboratory on the first floor of the Central Classroom Building (New Rectorate), the event featured comprehensive training by instructor Ahmet Ayna on topics including Canva usage, social media design, digital résumé preparation, and basic web design.

Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to experience the core features of the Canva platform through hands-on activities while gaining fundamental skills in effective visual content creation and the professional use of digital tools. In addition, sample applications demonstrating how AI-supported design tools can be utilized in educational and career development processes were shared with participants.

As part of the event, students not only gained knowledge about the design and content creation skills required in the digital world but also developed awareness regarding the impact of technological advancements on business life and career development.

The program, which aimed to enhance the digital competencies of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University students, attracted considerable interest and was completed in an interactive format through question-and-answer sessions and practical activities. At the end of the program, students stated that the knowledge and skills they acquired would make valuable contributions to both their academic and professional lives.
