A seminar titled “Ethical Principles of Conduct” was delivered by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Tansoy Yıldırım, a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, on May 12, 2026, at the Bandırma Boron and Acid Plants Directorate of Eti Maden Enterprises General Directorate under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
During the seminar, the critical role of ethical principles in achieving sustainable success at both individual and organizational levels was discussed, with particular emphasis on the importance of ethical values within public institutions and businesses, the contributions of ethical behavior to organizational culture, and ethical dilemmas encountered in professional life.
As part of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Tansoy Yıldırım emphasized that ethical conduct is not merely a set of rules, but also one of the fundamental pillars of institutional trust, transparency, responsibility, and professional work culture. Throughout the program, participants were provided with insights into ethical decision-making processes, practical examples from professional life, and approaches for strengthening organizational ethical culture.
During the event, Eti Maden employees and participants had the opportunity to share their views and experiences regarding ethical principles of conduct, and the seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
