Dear Students,

Economics is a discipline where you will discover the scientific foundation of both individual and social decisions while balancing limited resources with unlimited needs, develop your analytical thinking skills, and thus shape your future. We are pleased to welcome you on this journey in a well-established academic environment that combines theoretical depth with practical competence.

The education you will receive in our department enables you to understand decision-making mechanisms at all levels, from daily choices to global economic systems. A strong theoretical foundation, practical applications in everyday life, and the quantitative skills you will acquire will allow you to stand out both in academia and the professional world. Our graduates have career opportunities in a wide range of fields, from the public to the private sector, from financial institutions to international organizations.

In addition to core economics courses, the courses you will take in business administration, law, and econometrics will provide you with an interdisciplinary perspective. The international experience you will gain through the Erasmus+ program will provide you with a global outlook, while double major and minor programs will allow you to acquire a second specialization. The voluntary internship program will enhance your sectoral experience, and the Economics and Entrepreneurship Society, where you can take part as a member or leader, will make you more prepared for the business world and enable you to develop your leadership skills.
