Academic Advising Board
Academic Advising Board
The Academic Advising Board consists of academic advisors assigned to each class in both the Turkish and English Economics undergraduate programs and convenes at least once a year. Academic advisors aim to help undergraduate students plan their own education, provide guidance on academic, social, and cultural matters, and contribute to creating an environment that supports students’ holistic development—mentally, socially, and emotionally. In line with this purpose, each academic advisor holds one-on-one or group meetings with the students of the class they are responsible for. Thus, it is aimed to help each student pursue an effective and healthy educational life. Taking into account the results of academic advising satisfaction surveys, the Academic Advising Board also offers recommendations to the department administration regarding possible practices to be implemented in this direction.
