Academic Advisory Board

The Academic Advisory Board consists of academic advisors assigned to each year of the Turkish and English Undergraduate Programs in Economics, with at least one academic advisor assigned to each year, and meets at least once a year. Academic advisors aim to assist undergraduate students in planning their education, provide guidance on academic, social and cultural matters, and contribute to creating an appropriate environment for the holistic development of students' intellectual, social and emotional characteristics. In line with this objective, each academic advisor conducts individual or group meetings with the students in the year for which they are responsible. In this way, the Board aims to contribute to each student's effective and healthy academic life. Taking into account the results of academic advising satisfaction surveys, the Academic Advisory Board also makes recommendations to the department administration regarding practices that may be implemented in this context.
