As the Department of Economics of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University;

To train economists who have a solid theoretical foundation, can apply their theoretical knowledge, perform modeling and analysis, think analytically, criticize, question, interpret, be participatory, dynamic, investigative, visionary, open to changes and developments in science and technology, possess the necessary knowledge in their field, and can propose policies and recommendations on issues related to their discipline.
