Event on Business Management in the Age of Sustainability Held

Our University's Department of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Career Development Application and Research Center (BANÜ-KAGEM) and with the contributions of our Business Society student community, successfully organized the event titled “Business Management in the Age of Sustainability” at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall with strong participation.

The program was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Nida Abdioğlu, a faculty member of our Department of Business Administration, and moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç Ercan, Director of BANÜ-KAGEM. The event featured distinguished speakers including Cennet Yıldız, Export and Business Development Director at Tellioğlu Gıda, Serdar Gündoğan, Factory Manager at Tellioğlu Gıda, and Volkan Urbut. The event was attended by our academic and administrative staff as well as a large number of students.

During the event, various topics were discussed, including the concept of sustainability, sustainability practices in businesses, business development, sustainability in business development, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. Through sector-specific experiences, the speakers highlighted how a sustainability-oriented management approach contributes to the long-term success of organizations. It was emphasized that such practices offer significant opportunities not only in terms of environmental responsibility but also in creating economic and social value for businesses.

The program continued with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants had the opportunity to ask questions regarding career planning, sustainable business models, and the competencies sought in today’s business world.

The event concluded with Prof. Dr. Nida Abdioğlu presenting certificates of appreciation and gifts to the speakers, followed by a group commemorative photograph.
