PROTOCOL WITH THE INNOVATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (IGEA)

A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, and the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Education, and Research Association (İGEA).

The protocol aims to support students in the fields of entrepreneurship, project development, access to international funding, and sustainability. Accordingly, training, awareness, mentorship, and implementation activities will be conducted for international grant programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and Digital Europe.

The responsibilities of the parties are clearly defined:

İGEA provides technical expertise and mentorship regarding international grant programs, primarily Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and Digital Europe. It organizes training sessions for students on project development, project writing, and accessing funds. It offers guidance and counseling for students to be included in international project consortia. Furthermore, it provides expert instructor support for training programs, seminars, and project activities, offering consultancy and coordination assistance during the development and implementation phases of project ideas.

The Department of Business Administration coordinates student participation in the protocol's activities and provides scientific guidance and mentorship through its faculty. It encourages students to engage in project development processes and makes academic contributions to training programs, seminars, and practical applications. By providing physical facilities and organizational support when necessary, the Department ensures the effective execution of these activities.

The partnership primarily focuses on the following strategic areas:

• Developing projects for national and international grant programs

• Awareness and implementation initiatives for the Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and Digital Europe programs

• Training programs in project writing, entrepreneurship, and innovation

• Project development workshops and bootcamps

• Hands-on training and mentorship programs for students

• Events centered on entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability

• Projects driving social responsibility, sustainability, and societal impact

• Pilot projects bridging academic knowledge with field application

• Initiatives facilitating access to national and international networks

The protocol comes into effect on April 3, 2026, and remains valid for a period of three years. It may be extended in writing upon mutual agreement. Furthermore,

either party reserves the right to terminate the agreement unilaterally by providing a written justification. To ensure the effective planning, execution, monitoring, and

reporting of the activities, both parties shall appoint a coordinator.
