Within the distinction between Public Law and Private Law, the Division of Commercial Law is a division of Private Law. Although it is located under the Department of Private Law in Faculties of Law, it is housed within the Department of Business Administration in Faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The academic scope of the Division is Commercial Law, which consists of three main areas: "Commercial Enterprise Law," "Corporate Law," and "Negotiable Instruments Law."
