History

The Department of Business Administration was established in 1992 under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Balıkesir University in Bandırma. The department was later incorporated into the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, which was established by Law No. 6640, published in the Official Gazette dated April 23, 2015, and numbered 29335. An optional English preparatory class is available for students in the Department of Business Administration.

Academic Programs

Under the Department of Business Administration, there are master's degree programs in Business Administration (with and without thesis), Marketing Management (with thesis), Accounting and Finance (with thesis), and Leadership and Global Entrepreneurship (with and without thesis), as well as Ph.D. programs in Business Administration and Marketing.

Academic Staff

The Department of Business Administration has a young, dynamic staff comprised of experts in their fields, capable of guiding students in all areas of the business discipline and developing their ability to think and make decisions as global managers. The department consists of 8 professors, 5 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 5 research assistants.
