PROTOCOL WITH BANDIRMA CITY COUNCIL

This protocol has been established between the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and Bandırma City Council, aiming to enable students to integrate their academic knowledge with practice and to build a sustainable partnership between the university and local organizations.

The protocol provides a comprehensive framework encompassing training, seminars, panels, projects, internships, research, social responsibility, and volunteer activities. Through these initiatives, the goal is for students to go beyond theoretical knowledge, gain field experience, develop solutions to social issues, and grow into proactive individuals.

The responsibilities of the parties are clearly defined:

The Department of Business Administration organizes the voluntary participation of students, provides academic advising, and offers educational and scientific contributions through its faculty members.

The City Council provides the necessary venues and logistical support for activities, coordinates social responsibility projects, and offers students opportunities for fieldwork and practical application.

The collaboration primarily focuses on the following strategic areas:

• R&D and innovation projects

• Sustainability and environmental awareness

• Social responsibility and volunteer work

• Local development and entrepreneurship activities

• Training, seminars, and applied fieldwork

• Mentorship and internship opportunities for students

The protocol enters into effect on March 30, 2026, and is valid for a period of 3 years. It may be extended by mutual agreement; additionally, either party may terminate

the protocol by providing written notice of justification. To ensure effective implementation, both parties are required to appoint a coordinator.
