ERASMUS+ EXCHANGE PROGRAM Erasmus Program: Cultural Interaction and Academic Development Opportunities As the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Department of Business Administration, we believe in the importance of our students gaining international experience. In this regard, we support them in getting to know different cultures, experiencing academic environments in various countries, and developing new perspectives. We consider the Erasmus program a significant opportunity in achieving these goals. What is Erasmus? Erasmus is an exchange program created by the European Union that promotes student and academic staff mobility between higher education institutions. The main purpose of the program is to strengthen cooperation among universities in Europe and increase integration in the field of education. Through this program, students can study for one or two semesters at partner universities or have the opportunity to do an internship abroad. Students can complete a certain portion of the courses they take at their home university at another university within the scope of Erasmus. Similarly, international internship opportunities are offered for those who wish to gain professional experience. Erasmus is structured to support the academic development of students. By studying in different academic environments, participants learn new approaches to their fields and broaden their perspectives. In addition, they seize the opportunity to improve their language skills and strengthen their international networks by interacting with different cultures. Within the scope of the program, grants are provided to students to support their travel and living expenses. Furthermore, advising and guidance services are offered to facilitate the adaptation process. Erasmus in the Department of Business Administration As the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Department of Business Administration, we offer our students the opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus program. This way, our students can closely examine economic and social structures in different countries, observe international developments on-site, and improve their academic competencies. Application Process and Support Students who wish to apply to the Erasmus program can benefit from the guidance and support services offered by our department. Detailed advising is provided on the preparation of necessary documents, selection of an appropriate university, and accommodation planning during the application process.
