In order to support the career planning and development processes of the students in our university's Department of Business Administration, "Career Counseling" meetings were organized at every grade level. During the events, which were held during class hours and attracted great interest from the students, our esteemed faculty members—who also serve as the career counselors for each respective class—came together with our students to share important insights and visions for the future.
Within the scope of the career meetings series, Prof. Dr. Tülay YENİÇERİ first met with 3rd-year students on Tuesday, October 13, followed by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Tansoy YILDIRIM meeting with 4th-year students on Wednesday, October 14. The program was completed with comprehensive presentations by Prof. Dr. Cüneyt AKAR to 1st-year students on Thursday, October 15, and finally by Prof. Dr. Edip ÖRÜCÜ to 2nd-year students on Wednesday, October 21. Throughout the meetings, which were enriched with interactive Q&A sessions, critical topics that play a key role in preparing students for professional life were discussed in detail. These topics included current expectations of the business world, effective resume writing, evaluating internship opportunities, academic development strategies, and post-graduation career steps.
As the Department of Business Administration, we will continue to stand by our students in their academic and professional journeys and organize events that will support them in achieving their career goals. We would like to thank our esteemed professors who dedicated their valuable time to share their experiences, as well as our participating students.
