Our Social Responsibility and Volunteering Activities on Gender Inequality Continue Unabated

Women's Health Conference was organized by the Women, Family and Community Services Application and Research Center (BANU-KAT), which is directed by our Head of Department Prof. Dr. Aybeniz Akdeniz Ar, with the theme "If you are having difficulty, you are doing it wrong".
Sibel Boz, the esteemed wife of our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Serap Palaz, BANU-KAT Director Prof. Dr. Aybeniz Akdeniz Ar, our Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülnil Aydın, KYK Fatma Ana Girls' Dormitory Director Nuriye Onat, our staff and students attended the conference held at KYK Fatma Ana Girls' Dormitory.
Prof. Dr. Aybeniz Akdeniz Ar, who made the opening speeches of the program, shared Turkey's statistical data in the 2024 data of the Global Gender Gap Index and mentioned the gender inequality in our country, especially in the implementation of the right to health, the right to education, the right to work and the right to vote and be elected. She also emphasized that more awareness should be raised on women's health literacy.
After the opening speech, our guest speaker Op. Dr. Ayşe Duman took the stage and talked about how the subconscious affects the physical world of women. She also mentioned that malicious messages sent to the subconscious harm women's physiology and negatively affect women's quality of life. 
The program continued with the questions of our students answered by our invited speaker Op. Dr. Ayşe Duman and ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a gift to Op. Dr. Ayşe Duman by Sibel Boz, the esteemed wife of our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz and our BANU-KAT Director Prof. Dr. Aybeniz Akdeniz Ar.
